Thank you for visiting West Covina High School's WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) website! WASC is an accreditation process that occurs every 6 years (with a three year mid-term visit to make sure we are on the right track) at WCHS. During this visit a committee made up of administrators, teachers, and other staff from districts all over the state will come to interview our students, observe our teachers, witness three days of normal school operation, and talk to community members from WCHS. This visit is intended to make sure that what we have reported in our self-study is accurate and that the quality of education we offer at WCHS is held to a high standard. After the visit the school creates an action plan that will move WCHS forward and guide the school through the next six years. We further hope that this action plan will help maintain our reputation as a school that prepares our students well for the future and gives them many options upon graduation.

This site will provide you with access to the documents of our 2017-2018 WASC Self-Study process that was written by the WCHS Faculty, Students, and Parents. Please continue to visit this page for more updates regarding the WASC process. Thank you.
