REUNION ANNOUNCEMENT

The 50 year reunion of the West Covina High School class of 1960 will be held Saturday October 9, 2010 at the Marriot Hotel and Marina on Harbor Drive in San Diego announced Neil Nevills, chair of the reunion committee. Tickets are $125 per person and can be ordered by sending a check payable to “Michelle Mitchell WCHS 50th Reunion” to Michelle Aguilar Mitchell 40441 Via Siena, Murrieta CA 92562. Nevills stated the ticket price includes dinner, dancing, souvenirs, photos, a class gift to the school “and, of course, reuniting with old friends.” Music will be provided by professional DJ and classmate, Ken Nordstrom, and all guests will receive two CD’s of “Oldies-But-Goodies” compiled by classmate Pat Slattery, “So you can recreate our sock hops in your own living room.”

Committee social director, Mike Bradley, noted that in addition to the main event on Saturday night there will be a no-host cocktail party at Joe’s Crab Shack adjacent to the Marriot on Friday the 8th and a picnic on Sunday the 9th on Coronado Island (food and beverages available for purchase on site).
