The Root of the Week Contest is part of WCHS's school wide literacy efforts to help students develop academic vocabularly. Each week, Period 3 classes are given one minute to come up with as many words using the Root of the Week. All entries are submitted to Ms. Mo in W-3. Three classes with eligible lists are selected and the class with the most words wins for the week! All weekly winners will be placed in a drawing that will take place every 6 weeks for a class reward that is sponsored by ASB. Thanks Ms. Mo for running this contest!
